Trekking the White Desert

This special seven day expedition explores desert wilderness inaccessible by 4WD. The trip departs from Cairo, traveling tothe Bahareya Oasis where we visit the highlights of the oasis. Then, escorted by camels carrying our supplies, we venture into the White Desert where our Bedouin guide teaches us about the lifestyle and customs of the local inhabitants, demonstrates how to read sand prints, shows us how to find water, explains how to choose the right camping spot, and shares many other Bedouin desert survival secrets.

Route: Cairo – Bahareya Oasis – Agabat – Ain ElSerw – New White Desert – Western White Desert – Bahareya - Cairo
